Ironically, despite the name we are all avid sea anglers who catch fish regularly!
The name comes from a long dark fishless night, the highlight of which was some splendid curry & chips!!! Some of us are very experienced fisherfolk & some of us are novices but we all share one thing in common, a deep love for fishing.

This is where we blank using light float gear, and sit around putting the world to right and discussing the finer art of chip eating. In defence of our choice, we have some in-built entertainment, with the rats down there. Under any circumstances do not throw a rolled cheese sandwich at them, because if you do,and you hit one, the boogers will only come back and eat it! Also, believe it or not, there are fish there. I have seen mullet to just over 7lb, Bass over 5lb, pollack over 2lb, small wrasse, I have seen conger over 25lb, thornback ray over 5lb, various flatfish, other eels. It is like any venue around, the fish are either in a feeding mood or not!
